Traditional Moroccan rugs constitute a recognizable aspect of the kingdom's heritage and DariDecoo works solely with experienced local craftsmen who keep the tradition alive.
With different color palettes, tribal patterns, and weaving techniques, traditional Moroccan rugs come in different forms and styles representing the different tribal regions of the country.
We recognize the colossal amount of effort, focus, and work needed to create such masterpieces by hand, and we made sure to compensate the artisans accordingly.
The advantages of such activity don't only concern the artisans directly involved. In fact, the benefits expand to reach other community members which in turn contributes greatly to the local economy.
We work with women's weaving cooperatives who guide and help tribal women to secure an income with their weaving skills and also independent and equally talented artisans who focus on other traditional crafts and interior accessories.
We aspire to empower the tribal artisans and their local community to contribute to the longevity of the outstanding craftsmanship by giving the wonderful and authentic creations the attention and the compensation they deserve.
